Height, Width, & Volume of scaffold required
- Scaffold is typically priced on the area of scaffold needed - designing a scaffold with the correct amount of gear that meets the projects needs is the most cost effective.

Length of Hire
- Some projects only require scaffold for a few days while other projects can have scaffold on site for a number of months. The longer a scaffold is required on site the more expensive the overall scaffold cost will be. Planning ahead so everything that's needed for your project is sorted and on site will allow you to optimize your scaffold hire.

Location
- Projects in outlying or remote locations are logistically more expensive to get guys and gear to - not only distance to site but number of visits required to site will have an impact on pricing. Multiple trips to remote locations to alter scaffolds can add significant costs to your scaffold cost.
Good forward planning can ensure you minimize the impact of distance to your scaffold cost.

Number of working platforms
(walking levels)
- Some projects only require limited number of platforms to work off (ie: when a simple roof is being replaced) others require walking platforms every 2.0m high (the likes of exterior painting).
The more walking platforms the more volume of scaffold on site, the higher the cost.
Understanding exactly how many levels of walking platforms you will need, along with good planning and getting them installed right at the start of the scaffold being built (rather than having to alter the scaffold to install them) will always help reduce your scaffold cost.

Site Limitations
- Some projects have difficult or distance access requirements from where the scaffold is needed, others have steep or sloped sites to work around, and some projects are more challenging in their shape and design. Reducing the amount of manhandling hours that goes into a scaffold will make for the most cost effective scaffold solution.

Restrictions of Public access
- At times projects need to take into account the general publics safety. The measures required will need to be considered carefully, not only for the safety of all those affected by the project, but also to ensure these are done as cost effectively as possible. We can take care of all Traffic Management, fencing or screening and shrink wrap requirements.

Special Requirements
- Many sites only require the basic layout of scaffold - those built on flat sites with easy access, having a single layer of walking platform - these are the most economical. Other sites can have more expensive unique requirements - the likes of bridging gaps over conservatories, driveways and structures, the need for access towers to upper levels of scaffold, or propping to lower levels of scaffold support surface. With our wide resource of Ringlock and Tube&Clip scaffold along with our proven expertise, we can design and install your scaffold to accommodate those special requirements.
THERE ARE GENERALLY TWO COMPONENTS TO A SCAFFOLD PRICE

1. Installation and Dismantle

2. Weekly/Daily hire
There are also a number of other variables that will also affect a scaffold price.
